Nacre is a living room table with a fluid appearance that draws inspiration from the shape of an oyster. The base consists of an oval tub in transparent extralight glass with a mirror bottom , obtained by deforming a 12 mm flat sheet with a complex thermal process and trimming it around the perimeter. The top, resting on the tub, is made of mm. 6+6 with extralight mirror finish that fades in a circular manner, defining a round-shaped transparent area. The top is also available with a hole, in correspondence with the transparent area, through which you have access to the inside of the tub, to be able to use it as a planter or container. With this low table, Glas Italia wanted to create an object with organic shapes and pure shine. The extralight transparent crystal combined with the mirror is the maximum fusion of shine and brilliance that you can have in your environment, whether in the living room or professional studios
